Manual control and intermittent flow
The CL series screenchangers are manually operated by a control lever and require a short interruption of the working cycle, in order to replace the screens.
Operation
The structure of this screenchanger is very simple. The CL series has a steel body through which the melted material that needs to be filtered travels. The flow goes through a sliding plate where there are two filtering units, in which a filtering screen can be housed.
The two filtering holes alternate during the work.
When the filtering screen in use needs to be replaced, the person responsible simply operates the manual lever which pushes on the plate bearing the filtering units. This movement brings the dirty filter to the outside in order to make it accessible for cleaning, while at the same time the second filter is moved into its working position.

The applications
CL is a solution which can be successfully applied to granulation, re-granulation and regeneration installations, where a brief interruption for screen changing can be tolerated.
