Cofit, 40 years of production

2005 represented a fundamental transition year in the history of Cofit. In this year the changeover in ownership of the company was completed. Alessandro Fabbri, already president of Clearchem, became director of the company. He was determined to transfer his great entrepreneurial skills to a new international launch of the company and of the Cofit trade name, synonym, par excellence, for screenchangers.

Effective, consolidated and tested products, as well as technologically outstanding patents, among which, in particular, those relating to self-cleaning and to the continuous mode of the operating system of the screenchanger.

Design and technological assets are therefore our starting point from which to guarantee continuity and development.

We have a clear research and development policy as well as specific targets for our investments. Our objective is to expand and strengthen the automation process of production procedures in order to achieve maximum control of operations, their further simplification and the reduction of running costs.

Furthermore, our other research branch aims at the development of technologies which favour energy conservation and the reduction of the environmental impact of the system.
